Camp Debbie Lou was created in 2004 in loving memory of Deborah Lou Richardson Page.
Debbie Lou spent her life as a faithful wife, a loving mother of five, an adoring sister and aunt, and an inspirational family member. At the young age of 53, she lost a long and courageous battle with central nervous system lymphoma.
To honor her nurturing and caring spirit, her family committed themselves to creating a safe haven for other families dealing with cancer- a place where hands are held, the laughter is loud, and joy is shared.
Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.
– Matthew 19:14
You will find her family and friends honoring Debbie by serving as volunteers during each camp session.
