Camp Debbie Lou is nestled in the scenic eastern coastal region of South Carolina. The low-country ranch sits on 150 acres in Latta, South Carolina and serves as a retreat for families needing to kick up their heels, share some laughter, and relax by a lakeside gazebo.
The main lodge is a rustic cabin style house, enough for seven to ten families and the volunteers.
Upon entering the camp through a grand iron gate blossoming with Crape Myrtles, guests are soon greeted by Tennessee Walking horses and unexpected cameos from the local wildlife. The main lodge is a rustic cabin style house with plenty of room, enough for seven to ten families and the volunteers.
Guests will find the accommodations downright luxurious by ranch standards, with hardwood floors, pastoral views, and all the modern conveniences of home. Come with a hearty appetite, as our staff of chefs keeps food on the table all day long.
But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
– Isaiah 40:31
Camp Debbie Lou has a quaint prayer chapel that is always open for any of our guests needing to spend quiet time for spiritual refreshing. For encouragement and guidance, our day begins and ends with a prayer and devotional led by a different volunteer each day.
